Dr. Robert Beckelman's treatment philosophy is based on prevention and evidence-based choices for treatment.  All of the techniques and materials used are proven and held to the highest standards of success and comfort. Education is a life-long endeavor, and Dr. Beckelman is dedicated to learning the most current methods to help his patients achieve optimal dental health.

Your Comfort is Our Concern

Our office offers digital cable television in every treatment room, digital X-rays, diagnodent cavity detector, intraoral video cameras and a computerized comfort-injection technique, for your procedure. We also have an educational video program available to explain the various procedures we perform.

During your visit you can enjoy fresh brewed coffee or tea and home-baked cookies!

Infection Control

In these days of concern about the spread of infectious disease, we want you to know that the protection of our patients is a top priority in our office. We do everything possible to assure the sterility and safety of our working environment.

We follow the guidelines of the following organizations:

• Center for Disease Control
• The National Institute of Health
• American Dental Association
• OSHA

We continually review updates on infection control methods and techniques and implement strategies using the most current information available.

We continually work on our patient protection systems. Between each patient, the treatment rooms are thoroughly cleaned and treated with surface disinfectants and fresh protective barriers. The instruments are put through state-of-the-art ultrasonic scrubbing and then wrapped and sterilized in a large, pressurized steam autoclave sterilizer. Since we wrap our instruments, they are never touched again before the actual set-up in a treatment room. Gloves and masks are always used. Handpieces (drills) are always sterilized. We use other disposable products whenever possible to further eliminate cross-contamination.
